I decided to post to my journal again. So far as I know nobody reads this anymore so I should be able to write my thoughts out fairly freely.
I'm just a stressed out wreck and I'm really not doing well. This is my trial post to see if anyone still pays attention to this blog anymore. I'm not sure if that will change my decision to use it as an outlet for emotion or not, that will be decided at a later date.
Now, I'm going to go sleep.

So I'm sitting in my TA and I am bored out of my mind. I have marketing after this and I had history before. History was not to bad, except that I can't get my text book until I pay for the textbooks I lost. Lani is in all of my classes except for marketing, which is fun because we havn't had that many classes together since grade nine.
I don't really have that much to say, I'm just really rather bored right now.
Mom and Cam took me out for a driving lesson last night, it wasn't that bad but I need to improve a lot. Hopefully we'll be able to get out more so I have more time to practice.
I didn't get to bring a lunch today, which sucks cause I'm really kinda hungry, but Cam's cell phone isn't charging, and I think it would be just plain weird to call his house during break to ask him to bring me some food at lunch... but I need to call him either way to say that we are getting out at 3 today instead of 2:35 like we're suppose to on wednesdays.... I'm rambling.
I still have ten minutes of TA so I've gotta figure out something to do... I think I'm gonna go play monster hunter.

Have you ever been completly bored with your life?
Yeah sure there are interesting parts, but in the end... I feel the need for adventure. Books and movies are great but they leave me... sorta empty I guess. Honestly, I want to have the chance to.. I dunno, explore some new world, join a war against darkness, get in a car that transformed into a robot... I just... want something more.

Alright, heres how it works:
For those of you who don't know, James flew out here last thursday and flew back to Ottawa today. However, my parents were not very happy with him for leaving, and he didn't get to see a few of his friends, so here is what happened.
Brett came upstairs to tell me dinner was ready, and told me to text James, tell him dinner was ready adn ask him when he was going to get here. James said he would come back when the Canucks won the cup.
Unkown to my parents though, I have taken out my own insurance on a return visit.... how much do you think he values his "Australian Indoor-Rules Quidditch" t-shirt?

This weekend was the fabulous wonderful weekend of Kei Kon V: Kei Kon Returns. (for those of you who don't know V =5 (lots of people asked this weekend what the V was for)) In a weekend of anime, gaming, fan parody's, AMV's and random contests new friends were made, old friends were found again, Kelc and I became famous and Iggy got burned by Kelly repeatedly... oh and Kelly's Mom called him when he was announcing the fan parody's...
For those who are confused, Kelly is the convention leader and is therefore our god. He is also Gendou.
So. The Story of Kelc and Jen becoming Famous AKA The WTF? award.
Kelc and I decided to enter the Cosplay contest, we didn't really have costumes, or any ideas what to do. After much running around, some begging and me stealing Lani's pants we signed up for Cosplay and went to the rehersal. Rehersal went well, we got some comments and lots of laughs of our skit, but nothing compared to the actual contest. Here's what happened when we walked out on stage.
Kelc: Hi. My name is Creative, and I'm that anime character from that anime that you havn't seen yet. But when they make it, I know I'll be the main character, why? Because I have, a Kick Ass Weapon
-Amanda stands up and growls/claws at the crowd-
mood swings, and breasts! -Kelc bounces her breasts, crowd starts screaming and clapping-
Jen: And I'm her best friend... my weapon isn't as good
-Holds up chop sticks-
My breasts arn't as big... but I'm emo... so I'll get more fans.
Kelc: Will Not!
Jen: Will Too!
Kelc: Will Not!
Jen: Will Too!
Kelc: Nu-auh!
Jen: Fine! I'm gonna go die! -runs away into the crowd-

and for that... we received the WTF? award. We also started a convention wide debate about which is hotter/better: Emo Girls or big breasts. And people gave us free candy/pop/pocky and took our pictures.

There are many other stories from the convention, but right now, I'm to tired to share them, I'm going to my bed now...

Hm.. its been almost a month since I last posted, don't really have all that much to say. I have a kitten now, her name is Tabitha and she is a ninja. Parents got a puppy, his name is Hoover and he will try to eat you.
Kelc and I went to the Evanescence concert last month, twas really good. I've sorta been avoiding talking about it around Lani or anywhere that it will get back to Lani because I feel bad that she didn't get to go. Unfortunatly there was nothing else we could do about it.
Thursday is going to be a happy day for me since I get paid, and when I put that money into savings I will have enough to pay for my bus ticket to Ottawa. Now all I have to do is save money to get back from Ottawa!
I'm working some extra hours right now, because we don't have a 12-8 baker for mon-fri. I did it twice this week since we were off school which means a little extra money.. always nice.
Oddly enough I'm going to be going back to work in a little while to book off the weekend for Kei Kon. I've been holding off booking it off in case Lani asked me to take some time off for her birthday, since I only take a few days off every month.

Blah. I hate being sick. I've been fighting off whatever this is for alittle while, but it got really bad yesterday after spending most of the day in the rain. Mom called me in to work last night at about 9pm, then they called at 4am to ask why I wasn't there. Bets I got fired because someone didn't pass on the message?
I'm starting to look for a new job anyways, I'm going to stay at tim hortons until I get started at a new job for long enough to be comfertable in it, then I'll quit tim hortons. I'm really hoping to get into a book store because I love books very very much. This also means I'm working on updating my resume, which ment digging out my planning portfolio because that had the most recent copy in it, which got me thinking, have they decided if I need to do this yet? Last I'd heard what I'll need to do to graduate is still up in the air, which is very very fustrating. The ironic thing is that I have one of the best portfolios in the school, and I still have alot to do on it before I could graduate.

Well that was a lovely pointless ramble! Anyways, I'm going to go sleep again, since I do have to work tomorrow even if I am sick, I need the money too much.
